Advancing the restoration industry goes beyond the classroom. It means showing up, lending our voice, and being part of the conversations that will shape the future of our profession.

Last week, our team had the opportunity to participate in the IICRC Legislative Fly-In, joining fellow industry leaders in advocating for stronger standards and the continued advancement of the restoration industry.

A key focus was supporting the and efforts to strengthen how mold assessment and remediation are addressed—particularly when it comes to protecting military service members and their families from unsafe living conditions.

During the Fly-In, our CEO, Ken Sellers, also spoke about the importance of IICRC Certified Firms and the role that trained, qualified professionals play in providing consistent, standards-based restoration services.

We’re proud to be part of this collective effort and look forward to continuing to work alongside the IICRC and others who are committed to raising the standard of care.

Day 3 of our IICRC Commercial Drying Specialist ( ) class is in full swing. Today’s highlight: students had the opportunity to see commercial drying in action. Conversations are diving deeper into the real challenges restoration teams face on large commercial losses, from desiccant applications and drying system setup to making critical decisions when projects get complex.

This is what education should look like, real equipment, real expertise, and real-world application.
