Have you been missing us?

We had our first accessory day today and let me tell you what, I have a feeling that next Thursday we will have even more accessories being handed out! Our 1st-4th grades have read, tested, AND passed almost 1,000 book tests so far! GREAT JOB!

I would like to give a special shout out to Angelia Dixon who crocheted all of the bears! It wouldn’t be possible without her!

It’s been a minute since our last post! I can assure you that our Beartastic Readers have NOT stopped reading!! We celebrated Dr. Seuss last week and our high school students even read to our elementary kiddos!

We’ve had a BUSY few weeks! We now have SEVERAL kids that have already read over 100 books!!!

Towards the end of last school year, I took the bears and accessories to show the kindergarteners what they would get to do the following school year. So they were ready to start reading as soon as school started! Today, they got to experience their first ever “Accessory Day”! They have read so many books, that the top boy and girl reader got a little something extra with their accessories!

Our 2nd grader, Tinlee, got back to reading as soon as school started as well and earned a hairbow and button charms!

I have a big feeling that next Thursday will be an even bigger “Accessory Day”!!!
