When I say I have a passion for what I do… I truly mean it! Working with kids has always been where my heart feels the most at home. Three years ago, God told me to quit my 9–5 job, and I was terrified. I didn’t know what the future would look like, but I stepped out on faith — and today, I’m so grateful that I was obedient.
I’m also doing this in honor of my grandmother, Bernice Coleman. Her love, strength, and warmth continue to inspire me every single day. The way she poured into our family is the same way I hope to pour into every child who walks through my doors.
What started as a simple dream …three little ones in my at-home daycare for my first day has turned into something bigger than I ever imagined. Today, Bre’s Playhouse has a waiting list — something I used to pray for, and now I get to watch come to life right before my eyes.
Every laugh, every milestone, every moment of growth reminds me why I chose this path. These kids aren’t just “kids I watch”… they’re part of my purpose.
And trust me, this is only the beginning. I cannot wait for the day I open the doors to my very own building — a space filled with learning, love, and endless play. Bre’s Playhouse is growing, and so is my vision.
