For the first time in program history, two CFCC Upward Bound students represented our program at the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) National Student Leadership Congress in Washington, DC!
This five-day leadership experience brought together 100 TRIO students from across the country for hands-on leadership training, debate policy in a Mock Congress, meet their Senators and Representatives on Capitol Hill, participate in community service, and engage in college and career planning workshops.
Reflecting on the experience, one student shared, "TRIO has given me a lot of opportunities that I would've never thought I would have."
We are proud of our students for representing CFCC and embracing every opportunity to grow as leaders!
