Hi, I’m Laynie.

Over 10 years supporting students with reading, writing, and communication skills—including those with learning differences. I'm an experienced educator with a passion for helping students grow into confident, capable readers and communicators. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Italian, an M.S.Ed. in literacy, and recently completed a second master’s in communication sciences and disorders/speech-lang

uage pathology. I am also Montessori-trained. For over a decade, I’ve worked with students from preschool through 12th grade—including learners with autism, intellectual disabilities, and reading or learning challenges. I specialize in reading, writing, and foundational literacy support. I also offer enrichment in communication skills such as vocabulary development, expressive language, and articulation strategies—all grounded in my training and experience as an educator. Whether your child needs a gentle boost or focused academic support, I meet learners where they are and help them build the confidence to move forward.
