Everyday when I wake up, even on the hard days, I think of the 60 kids I see everyday that I’m going to camp for. I’m thinking of the many street leaders (job training program for high schoolers in Wilmington ran by UrbanPromise), the staff, the ten people in my house, and the love I am able to show to them because of God. God has been so good and being here has shown me truly what it’s like to rejoice and have joy in the trials and tribulations. It’s so hard and frustrating sometimes but I really have the joy of God deep down in my heart. At the end of the day, I know who I’m doing this for...HE loves me and this is his purpose for me. Wow...these kids are growing on me and we’re halfway done! I only have 22 full days left, 12 days of teaching, 3 field trips, and so much more to witness in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. For those who are praying for me and supporting me, thank you. YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO ME WHEN I RECEIVE A LETTER OR EMAIL FROM SOMEONE TELLING ME I HAVE RECEIVED A DONATION.
I only have about $300 left to raise and have raised about $1200. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who are praying and supporting me financially. I’ll be praying for all of you guys and God shall surely bless you.
I MISS YOU GUYS IN TEXAS AND KANSAS.
~I can’t wait to show you pictures and tell you about my adventure and God’s plan in Wilmington~
Another day at Camp Harmony...🙂
My Summer at UrbanPromise 2021
I will be working as a site coordinator for UrbanPromise during the summer of 2021. UrbanPromise is
I know everybody is probably waiting for an update on my internship, well here it is!
I am enjoying it here in Wilmington, Delaware so far. UrbanPromise has treated me so well. I am becoming more aware of racial barriers and stuff I was even ignorant to. I love spreading Jesus to the people in this city. Many of the people in Wilmington are hopeless and don't know what love or joy is, and it brightens my world to have the opportunity to show just one camper that. God's love is so much sweeter than any other
Camp starts and I start teaching next Monday on June 24th. My birthday is on June 26th so if you would like donate to UrbanPromise under the link on this page for my birthday I would appreciate it! Being able to make an impact is helpful I have already met many high schoolers from the city and the college interns who are here with me. I am loving it so much.
I got all of my curriculum for the summer and schedule for camp. I really cannot emphasize how excited I am to influence these kids and make an impact here. God is so good
If you donate, can you please message me and tell me! I want to know so I can send you a special something :)

As some of you guys know I will be going to an Internship in Delaware this summer. I plan to post pictures, updates, and other things on this page. I have sent out letters to those whose addresses I had, but I know I have many more people out there who may want to know what I am doing. If you joined this page I just want to thank you already :).
I am also using this page to ask for donations to help support me as I go to UrbanPromise and serve as an intern. I need to raise $1500 for this internship and before you question why I need to raise money as an intern, let me tell you...
1. There is a lot of information on the letter (pictures attached to this post) but they will be providing living expenses, food expenses, and other expenses.
2. The interns have the opportunity to go on weekend trips to places such as D.C., Philly, and NYC.
3. UrbanPromise is non-profit and the kids who attend go for free which means that they are supported by churches and other organizations as well as the individuals who support them/their interns (which could be you ;))
You can donate at anytime y'all and the address and link will be on my page as well as below! Thank you, everyone, for reading this far and I would love to answer questions you have.
