2020 Gala Once upon a Time...

I had the opportunity to teach and coach public speaking skills to an organization's president in preparation for the annual conference. I also worked with the staff writers on composing spoken words. This past week their annual conference was held, I teleprompted it, but also made adjustments to remarks and did some coaching refreshing. I often hear words like these, but this year's president sent this note to me today:

"A note of sincere thanks for your support during the meeting. You are fabulous. I felt completely at ease reading from the prompter because you were so in sync with me. I had no fear of going off script - which I did as you know - but knowing that (you were in sync) was hugely important.

So many people came up and asked how I had memorized my speeches, and they felt I was talking to them, not at them. That is a testament to the training that you gave me."

Trained the writers at The Society of Neuroscience in Composing Spoken Words, the first half of the Spoken Words Seminar/Workshop. Here's what they had to say, "The feedback to yesterday’s training was excellent - the participants really enjoyed it, as did I."
