Over and over the Bible guides us to trust. Control can be such a thief of so many things that always lead to worry and anxiety. When you trust in the Lord your trusting in love, peace, joy, and all things good.

When you are not quite ready to trust and or things don't go your way...so what?? These situations are beautiful opportunities to take as either lessons or blessings to learn and grow from.

And that my friend is a gift.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV):
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Psalm 37:5 (NIV):
"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this."

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NIV):
"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

Isaiah 26:3-4 (NIV):
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal."

Psalm 28:7 (NIV):
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him."

Live here, not there!

Imagine seeing a homeless man in the street. One smile opens up a conversation, one smile invites a hug. One smile changes two worlds.

I once hugged a homeless man. He was so grateful, he told me he hadn't hugged anyone in 10 years. He said something so beautiful on that busy street corner. The homeless man with worn and torn clothes leaned in and whispered, "I felt love with that hug and I really needed that, thank you."

We both won that day❤️

What are you doing with the pain and heartache in your life? Are you turning your burdens into blessings? Are you using it for growth to help and serve others or wasting it away?

Faith is what gets you through the fear.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

This often requires a step out of your comfort zone. When you get that feeling, butterflies, goosebumps or can't stop thinking about something God is at work in you. God didn't call the perfect for help. He called the unqualified to change the world. Today be the answer to someone else's prayer.

Embody all that Jesus has to offer; an infinite amount of light, love, truth, gratitude, kindness, joy, peace and abundance!
