Marlene McDonald, a multiple award winning glass and jewelry artist, earned her Bachelor's degree in education from Michigan State University. Working with a torch, a flame exceeding 1500 degrees in temperature, rods of glass, and an active imagination, mermaids, octopus, sells, sea stars and other sea creatures are born.
