What a memorable way to celebrate our students' hard work and achievement!

Last week, students in 3rd-5th who scored at a Level 3 or above on the SBAC assessment earned the opportunity to throw a pie at Ms. Suchyj. A total of 46 pies were tossed in recognition of their dedication and success!

The rest of our students in grades 3–5 came out to cheer on their classmates and celebrate their accomplishments. Ms. Suchyj is already hoping that next year we'll double the number of pies she gets hit with as even more students reach this incredible milestone!

A special thank you to Ms. Jackson for helping prepare all of the pie pans and making the event possible!

What a fantastic day at Elementary Field Day! ☀️🏃‍♀️

Our students had an incredible time participating in a variety of fun activities, games, and challenges throughout the day. A huge thank you to Ms. Fornoff, whose hard work and organization made this event such a success!

We also want to recognize our amazing middle school students who volunteered at each activity station. Their leadership, encouragement, and support helped make the day special for our elementary students.

Thank you to everyone who helped create a day filled with fun, teamwork, and great memories! 💙💛

This past Wednesday, we had an amazing time at our Family STEM Night!

From colorful face painting and delicious food trucks to engaging STEM activities for the whole family, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

It was wonderful seeing our students, families, and staff learning, exploring, and having fun together. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success.

Events like these remind us that we are truly Stronger Together!

Congratulations to Peter Antony and the The Bayard School Borchestra for earning 1st Place Jazz Band with a Superior Rating and being named the Top Overall Middle School/Junior High Ensemble at the 2026 Music in the Parks Festival at Hershey Park!

Bayard students showcased their dedication, determination, and doggone amazing talent! We are incredibly proud of our students and their outstanding accomplishments. They brought home two trophies and a medal!

We are excited to invite you to our Family Field & STEM Night: Stronger Together on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the playground located at 200 S. Dupont St., Wilmington.

This fun-filled community event is hosted in partnership with The Bayard School, United Way of Delaware, and Children & Families First. Families will enjoy an evening of hands-on STEM activities, learning opportunities, and entertainment for all ages.
