Our students have been delving into the notion of being when curating play provocations.
They're considering how they typically present their materials...
Should you use paper or cardboard plates?
What does this say about your view of the child?
Does it see children as capable and competent?
What does it say about your understanding of children's independence?
Take-home message: Not until we're able to perceive things differently will we be able to approach things differently.
