Not AWOL… just enjoying life! 🩷 And honestly, that’s one of the beautiful things about homeschooling. We LOVE a good schedule, but we also know that sometimes life happens, seasons change, and we have to roll with it!
That’s definitely where we are right now at Honey Frontier Enrichment Classes. As we head into a new school year, we’re still in a BIG planning phase with lots of changes happening behind the scenes.
We’ve had several of our wonderful teachers step away because of life changes, a need for more flexibility, or simply moving into a new season. We are SO thankful for everything they have poured into our community, but it has left us with a teacher shortage—not a student shortage! ❤️
And that means we need YOU! 🐝
If you’ve ever thought about leading a class, this is your invitation to reach out! No teaching experience is necessary. Our classes are designed to enrich your homeschool journey, not replace your core curriculum. We’d love to offer everything from music, STEM, reading, art, and history to hobbies, hands-on skills, and all those fun subjects that make homeschooling special.
Have an idea but aren’t sure how to turn it into a class? We can help you coordinate it!
But in order to have classes, we need homeschool mamas and dads who are willing to step up and get involved—not just bring their children. Our community is strongest when we all contribute our time, talents, and ideas. 💛
We’re also looking at changing our class format this year. Our goal is to move toward 3 weeks of classes followed by 3 weeks off rather than traditional semester-long cycles. With the manpower we currently have, we’re trying to create a rhythm that is sustainable while still giving our kids meaningful opportunities for learning, friendship, and social growth.
And of course, there’s SO much that happens behind the scenes! Social media, administration, communication, coordinating, and organizing are all things we need help with too. The hours that go into Honey Frontier outside of the classroom can become a pretty big commitment, and we’d love to have more hands helping carry the load. 🩷
So if you’ve been thinking, “Maybe I could help…” — YES. You can! 🐝
Bring us a class idea. Share a skill. Teach a hobby. Help with social media. Help organize. Whatever your strengths are, there’s a place for you!
Let’s work together to make this school year fun, flexible, enriching, and full of opportunities for our kids to grow academically and socially.
