We are so excited to share something we’ve been working toward behind the scenes at Western Star Literacy Center. ✨

We are now offering Dyslexia Assessments using the Tests of Dyslexia (TOD®)!

One of the most common things we hear from families is, “I know my child is struggling, but I don’t know why.” These assessments help identify a student’s literacy strengths and areas of need while providing valuable information to help guide intervention, educational supports, and next steps.

At WSLC, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader. Sometimes the first step isn’t more tutoring, it’s getting answers. Our hope is that these assessments will provide clarity, direction, and encouragement for families looking to better understand how their child learns.

We’re also incredibly excited and grateful to have Sara Davis leading this work. Sara’s passion for helping struggling readers, combined with her knowledge, experience, and heart for children and families, makes her an amazing addition to this service. We feel so fortunate to have her helping us bring this opportunity to our community.
