💡 WMSCC Staff Explore Innovation and AI at IgniteND

WMSCC staff spent yesterday and today learning, collaborating, and exploring innovation in education at the 2026 IgniteND Conference at Valley City State University! 💡📚

IgniteND is a two-day conference designed for K-12 teachers, education administrators, and technology leaders. This year’s conference focused on artificial intelligence in education, offering practical strategies, hands-on learning experiences, and ideas to support innovation and lifelong learning across North Dakota.

We appreciate our WMSCC staff for continuing to grow professionally and bring new learning back to support students and staff.

Summer Strength & Conditioning is BACK!

Get stronger, faster, and ready for your next season with our Sanford Summer Strength & Conditioning Program

Location: Williston High School (Door 10)
Runs: June & July
Multiple session times (Mon–Thurs):
• 6:30 AM
• 8:00 AM
• 9:30 AM
• 11:00 AM
• 1:00 PM (Middle School specific)

Open to all students entering 7th–12th grade (No Summer P.E. credit)
Cost: $75 (T-shirt included!)(Students need financial assistant please reach out to Activities Office)

- No session July 1–7 -

This is a great opportunity to build strength, improve conditioning, and stay active all summer long!

🌞🥫 WBSD7 Food Pantry Summer Hours

The WBSD7 Food Pantry will be open on select dates this summer from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Summer Dates:
• June 3
• June 17
• July 8
• July 22
• August 5

District Office - 820 E Broadway
Back of Building

The regular food pantry schedule will resume September 10.

Reminder: FREE Summer Meals!

Free meals are available Monday–Friday throughout June and July for all children ages 18 and under. Adults are also welcome to participate for $5 per meal.

Our 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony starts at 1:30 pm today. We are so excited to celebrate our 8th grade class! We will be livestreaming from this page as well as on the District 7 YouTube page.

Please remember that at the conclusion of 8th Grade Recognition, these students have officially completed their time as middle schoolers and do not come to school tomorrow, Friday May 22nd. We wish them all the best as they navigate high school and beyond.
