Hands-On Learning | Curiosity | Creativity | STEM Exploration Our students explored our school and discovered the different materials it’s made from. They were excited to learn that parts of our building include rock materials! 🪨 Inspired by what they saw, the children collected rocks and brought their learning back into the classroom—using them to build creative structures. Some of our friends even designed an airport complete with a waiting area! ✈️ The creativity didn’t stop there—students also worked together to build a Maze House for Brownie, our classroom hamster, practicing problem-solving, teamwork, and imaginative design. 🐹 Learning comes alive when children explore, create, and build with their own hands! #HandsOnLearning #STEMInAction #CreativeMinds #LearningThroughPlay #cathedraloflove 01/17/2026

Today, our students learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the importance of showing kindness, respect, and love to everyone. We talked about how we can come together no matter the color of our skin, and the children shared meaningful ideas such as playing together, learning together, and being friends. At our school, we believe education goes beyond academics. We teach our children about God’s love for all people and how He calls us to treat one another with love, fairness, and compassion. Through the teachings and example of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., our students are learning that standing up for what is right, loving others, and working for peace can truly make a difference. Dr. King’s message reminds us how important it is to remember the sacrifices he made and the impact he had on our people and our nation. By teaching these values early, we are helping to raise children who lead with faith, kindness, and understanding. Each lesson builds on yesterday, Every stumble shapes the way we rise, Progress is the courage to keep moving, Even when the path is undefined. We evolve through laughter and mistakes, Through crayons, books, and hopeful dreams, Becoming more than who we were before, More than what the moment seems. Motivation lives in gentle voices— “You can,” “Try,” “Believe,” “Begin,” In teachers, parents, faith, and love, In the quiet strength that grows within. From our exciting trip to the Post Office to our Park Adventure and Clean Up, our campers enjoyed a variety of activities that balanced fun, exploration, and community care. This experience left a meaningful impact on our campers—helping them grow socially, spiritually, and emotionally. They not only made wonderful memories but also developed a greater sense of responsibility, friendship, and community spirit that they will carry into the future! We sincerely thank our dedicated staff ❤️for their hard work, teamwork, and commitment to making this camp season special. The first day of school at Cathedral of Love Christian Academy was filled with excitement, joy, and a welcoming spirit. Our classrooms came alive as students walked into a warm environment where learning, laughter, and love are at the heart of all we do. We introduced a new member of our school family—our class pet hamster, Brownie! The students are eager to learn how to care for Brownie, from making sure he has food and water to gently watching over him. Through this experience, our children are learning responsibility, kindness, and how even small acts of care can make a big difference. Our students are also learning the importance of being helpers. Each child is taking on specific roles in the classroom—whether it’s line leader, snack helper, or library organizer. These responsibilities build confidence, teamwork, and accountability, helping them understand how their actions affect others in positive ways. We look forward to seeing these seeds of responsibility blossom throughout the school year. As we progress, we are excited for all the growth, new experiences, and special memories ahead.
