🚨 SCHOLARSHIP ALERT 🚨

In partnership with UNCF, the TJX Scholarship Program was developed to make a lasting impact on young peoples’ lives by offering scholarships based on financial need. The TJX Scholarship Program will provide $10,000 need-based scholarships to Black and African American undergraduate students attending any US-located accredited 4-year College or University or 2-year Community College.

As a PhD student in Engineering Education, the Supreme Court is dead wrong for their decision on affirmative action. Racial equity in higher education is needed. However, the Supreme Court would rather focus on making sure unqualified legacy, typically white students can skate through education with their privilege.

We must remain seen and visible. We must continue to have our images seen to show the importance of ALL who seek education having a fair, honest chance. That’s how we all succeed.

Burlington County HBCU Initiative annual scholarship is being pushed back, and will be announced sometime in July. I thank everyone who has supported this initiative throughout the years, especially with me not being in New Jersey due to work. Juggling a full-time job, while being a full-time PhD student is not easy. However, the mission still stands. And I will always continue to push push this mission, regardless of where I am in the country.

As I transition into a new role with my company, I will also be relocating back to the East Coast. I am looking forward to continuing to push this mission, expand the team, and continue to spread the narrative of the importance of historically black colleges to all students.

Thank you again for the support. And please be on the lookout for our annual scholarship to be announced in July.
