We celebrated the end of our first week of school with our first Neumann Knight Out of the year at the Williamsport Crosscutters! ⚾

🤸That first pitch had us flipping out—literally! And Coach R got pulled into the action for some ballpark trivia ⁉️

What a fun night for our SJNRA family! ❤️💛

Before we can shine Christ’s light for others, we must first be filled with it—and what better way than by being nourished by His Word and the Bread of Life? 🙏

’Twas the night before school,
and all through the town,
The backpacks were ready,
the pencils laid down.
The uniforms waited,
all pressed with great care,
For St. John Neumann Knights
soon would be there!

The students were nestled
all snug in their beds,
While visions of school days
danced in their heads.
New teachers, new classmates,
new things they would learn,
New pages to open,
new corners to turn.

The hallways stood quiet,
the classrooms prepared,
With books on the shelves
and the desks neatly squared.
The teachers had planned
and had prayed through it all,
Awaiting the footsteps
that soon filled the hall.

Tomorrow the Knights
will come through the door,
Some eager and ready—
some nervous, for sure!
But each will be welcomed,
each one will belong,
For Christ is beside us
and makes our school strong.

We’ll study our numbers,
our science, our art,
But wisdom and knowledge
are only the start.
We’ll read and we’ll write,
we’ll discover and grow,
And ask lots of questions
of things we don’t know.

We’ll pray in the morning
and serve when there’s need,
Putting our faith
into action and deed.
With kindness and courage,
compassion and grace,
We’ll try to see Jesus
in each person’s face.

For Knights are called onward—
not simply to win,
But to lift up each other
and welcome folks in.
To serve and to lead,
to be faithful and true,
And use all the gifts
God has given to you.

There’ll be laughter at lunch
and some homework at night,
There’ll be lessons we nail—
and a few we won’t quite!
There’ll be friendships and challenges,
triumphs and fun,
And days when we wonder
where all the time’s gone.

So tonight, dear Knights,
as you turn out the light,
Say a prayer for tomorrow
and sleep well tonight.
Ask God for the courage
to learn and to grow,
And trust that He’s with you
wherever you go.

May St. John Neumann guide us
and pray for us too,
As we start this new year
with a purpose anew.
With faith as our compass
and Christ as our light—

It’s hard to believe the time has come. The 2026–2027 school year is almost here, and we can’t wait to welcome our Neumann Family back. ❤️💛

The Noble Knights Walk is coming up, and we’re looking for sponsors to help us decorate our lawn! ❤️💛

The annual Noble Knights Walk brings our school community together to celebrate and encourage positive behavior while empowering our students to lead with strong morals and values— like a Noble Knight.
