Salsita Salsita is a non-profit that facilitates local artists in underserved communities in building an oasis of creative development for the youth.

Salsita is an organization based out of the College of William and Mary that seeks to financially support neighborhood leaders who serve their community through the arts. We are officially an approved non-profit. This project was largely inspired by Lazaro Salsita, a Cuban recycled-goods artist who provides disenfranchised youth in his community with a knowledge and appreciation of art. Lazaro hol

ds workshops after school for children and teaches them the value of used goods and creative expression. This year, we look forward to implementing arts programs with students in our local public schools! We are currently selling phone cases that incorporate the designs of artists we support, and proceeds go towards projects such as improving Lazaro's studio in Cuba.
