The Osher Program is a nationwide educational program for people over 50 (we call them "seasoned adults"): W&M is one of 125 universities that offers courses under this umbrella organization. Here's a link to the Osher Program website in case you want to know more about it.

Click on the link on the website to get a Sneak Preview of the course offerings for the fall. You'll see our campus tour listed, among a whole lot of juicy courses.
The program is seeking volunteers to lead campus tours. The two-hour tour involves just the old campus at this point -- the three original buildings and the classroom buildings and dorms surrounding the Sunken Garden. In subsequent semesters we'll expand to the New Campus, but we're not at that point yet.
Please contact Karen McPherson to volunteer or for more information.
The Osher Institute at W&M is a membership of people -- mostly age 50+ -- from a variety of backgrounds. We share a common interest in continuing learning experiences and intellectual stimulation. There are no tests or grades. Members participate purely for the joy of learning.
