We loved seeing Raider staff sporting their new shirts today!

Our first project of the year introduced students to operating the heat presses safely, techniques for measuring, marking, and folding shirts, and sorting & delivering the final product. We also learned about calculating defect rates, and how to use those calculations to determine how many blank shirts & transfers to order.

Students have started designing our next shirt project, and we can't wait to share what they come up with! This time around, they'll take on more of the "behind the scenes" tasks like writing surveys to collect size information, organizing that data in spreadsheets, and cost & revenue calculations.
