Down By The Creek Center is seeking a teacher’s assistant! The teachers are our program’s heart and soul. We work together as a team to ensure growth and safety for each student. Teachers are responsible for toileting/diapering students. Providing proper supervision during indoor and outdoor play and activities. Helping to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. Assisting each other during projects/tasks for the curriculum lessons. Keeping up with educational trainings provided by the State of Michigan. Come ready to engage with students and understand that play is our student’s biggest form of learning.

Down by the Creek Center is seeking a full time teacher’s assistant. The teaching staff are the heart of the program. They work together as a team to ensure growth and safety for each student. All teachers are responsible for helping to toilet and diaper kids. Assistant in running the daily projects/tasks for the planned curriculum lessons. Provide proper supervision for play indoors and outdoors. Prep and serve snacks and meals. Help to maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the classrooms of and property. Teachers must up to their shift ready to engage with students and understand that play is our student’s biggest form of learning.
