The Mvskoke Recreation Department will begin accepting nominations on Monday, Feb. 9th for the 5th Annual ORES Inter-Tribal Rising Stars games for Native American 8th Grade student/athletes that currently attend and play for an ORES or K-12 school. Games to be held at the Mvskoke Dome March 28th, 2026.

Last year, over 100+ student/athletes combined competed in the Intertribal Rising Stars event! Over 40 schools and close to 20 tribes were represented during the six games played on Saturday.

Players must be nominated by the head coach. The nomination form will include all the criteria to complete the nomination.

The deadline for submissions is March 9th, 2025, by 5 p.m. The nomination form will be available on our page Monday. If you have any questions, email: [email protected] or call 918.319.8949.

Chickasaw citizens can receive assistance for extracurricular activities through the Chickasaw Nation Youth Support Reimbursement Program!

The program provides up to $300 a year to cover the costs of participation in extracurricular activities. Chickasaw children ages 3-18 are eligible. Assistance is limited to once per program year.
