We turned a bathroom into a laundry room that was originally a laundry room. Confused? When my client bought the home the mushroom/ laundry room with access to the garage was turned into a master bathroom and a family room was turned into a bedroom. Sounds great until you realize the only access to the garage and backyard is through the master bedroom. Yikes. The home already had a master bedroom/bath combo so we took this bathroom fully back to the mud room laundry room that it was mean to be. Swipe left for the before picture. I am excited to share some fun news. I am partnering with to update this bathroom turned powder bath/laundry room with vinyl tile stickers! Warning.... cuteness overload. Our Rosie girl is a year old. I am thankful the hard parts of puppy stage is over. I miss the snuggles. Our lives are so much better with you Rosie but I am not sure our our house.

It’s Monday and you know what that means! This week I am featuring my faves from and Check my stories!!!!

My view this weekend looked much different than my everyday. Thankful for a much needed family vacation and now it’s time to get back to work.... mixed in with a little back to school supply shopping.

Farmhouse sinks are the divas of kitchen remodels. They are more expensive than under mounts and are high maintenance at install. They require and installer who is ready to face a good challenge, detailed and can problem solve. Every cabinet company has a different version of how you have to modify their sink to fit your farmhouse sink. So... my tip: Know your sink at cabinet order and make sure you communicate it with the kitchen cabinet company. We did just that and even though the Farmhouse sink got a little diva on us this morning we were able to solve the problem. Even though the farmhouse sink is a diva at install she will steal the show and be the hardest worker in your kitchen.

I really love the simplicity of this bathroom. Small spaces really make your think through what you really need. Some families need tons of storage I get it, especially in shared bathroom or one bathroom home situations. But if I think about it, there are only 15-16 things I use each day. All but three of them can fit into one drawer a basket or a medicine cabinet. The other three are stored in the shower. In my mom’s home, I grew up with towel rods a plenty with nicely folded towels but find I am much more a towel hook girl. How about you? What storage needs are a must have in your bathroom?
