POV: Your 5-year old is expected to sit still and learn ABCs but all they want to do is play.

The good news? This is completely developmentally normal. Your kid isn’t broken. Their primary work in the first 6-7 years of life is to play and explore the world with their own five senses.

The even better news? Our play-based early elementary program is designed to align with childhood development, providing a “quiet growing time” in the words of Charlotte Mason. Children ages 4-7 read stories, sing songs, play indoors and outdoors, and build social-emotional skills through real relationships.

Quarter 2 Enrichment programs are open for registration! We have options for students age 4 through 12th grade.

ROOTS (ages 4-6)
Preschool and early elementary students enter a world of wonder as they experience timeless stories, songs, and games and explore the natural world - with plenty of time for nature's best teacher - play.
This program is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

SPROUTS GUILD (ages 6-12)
Elementary students will explore history, nature, literature, and a variety of enrichment subjects.
This program is available on Wednesdays only.

BRANCHING OUT (grades 4th-8th)
Students in grades 4th-8th will dig deeper in specific subject areas, including science, art, and independent studies.
This program is available on Tuesdays only.

FUN FRIDAYS (age 4 through 12th grade)
Specialized elective classes on a variety of topics for all ages.

Throwback Thursday!

Students explored Holi, the Festival of Colors, from India. In these photos, kids experienced the JOY of this holiday by participating in the tradition of throwing colored powder. These powders, traditionally made from a variety of dried plants, come in many bright and vibrant colors to celebrate the new life of spring.

Introducing...

QUEEN CORAL

Students in our Sprouts Guild enrichment program are learning about marine biology this quarter - including observing real live biology in the classroom. Today students washed and prepped the tank, including arranging marine plants for Coral to explore. We'll continue to observe our fish and plants over the coming weeks!
