Two weeks until the first day of classes! We wanted to share a reminder of some of the resources available in the Cohen Honors College. Looking forward to seeing our students back on campus soon!

Thank you to Charleston Waterkeeper, Kids on Point, and The Charleston Museum for being our South Carolina nonprofit partners for Lead for Tomorrow! You welcomed our crew and educated us about your mission-driven work as part of our Place as Text immersion.

As a part of Lead for Tomorrow, our students work with local nonprofits to tackle real-world challenges in our community. Thank you to Wichita Clean Streams, Pando Initiative, and the Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum for parterning with us this year.

We had such a great time working with our partners and appreciate the support they showed for our students’ innovative ideas!

Last Friday we had the chance to celebrate our graduating seniors. Honors seniors were recognized and given an Honors challenge coin. We look forward to see your next adventure inspired by more meaningful work!

Thanks to student leaders in Honors student organizations and experiences this year! Together, the Honors Ambassadors, Honors Student Council members, Honors student assistants, WHEAT members, and BILL'S Trip peer leaders exemplify what it means to be part of an Honors community. We appreciate their time and dedication!

We had an incredible time at the FYRE Showcase last week! The showcase brought together first year research students to present their findings in topics ranging from exercise pain, Alzheimer's prevention, aircraft design, and more!
