Our club has more than 100 members and promotes all types of radio controlled aviation modeling activities. The WRCC is a Chartered Member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, Chapter 316; and a member of the International Miniature Aircraft Association, Chapter 371.

WRCC has been named the AMA’s club of the month!
In the last year, WRCC has:
-Grown membership by 30%
-Been named an AMA Silver club
-Revamped and modernized our website
-Started pursuing improvements to our Chapin flying site with the City and Evergy to expand our shelter and get electricity

Club of the Month / July 2026 The Academy of Model Aeronautics is a nonprofit community of enthusiasts who come together to celebrate model aviation.
Cancelling the monthly meeting for tomorrow due to heat and wind. We’ll have pizza at our next meeting on the 30th!
Due to the chance of severe storms, tonight’s WRCC meeting is rescheduled to July 2nd!
Due to the very high likelihood of rain, this Thursday's club meeting is being relocated to Osage Park Rec center. Hope to see you at 7! We'll have pizza!
