Good Friday around here always means an Egg Hunt and going home with goodie baskets!
Today's hubt had to be inside due to a wet/muddy backyard, but he kids still had a complete blast!

Halloween at Allyson's Wonderland!
This morning we decorated pumpkins!
Lunch was:
Mummy Dogs
Monster Eye Balls (grapes)
Zombie scabs (carrots)
Pumpkin Teeth (cheese)
Snack was a contribution from all the parents! They're so creative and fun!!

Our new addition came to visit today! He is 3 weeks old as of today, and he will get to join our crew in September!

My summer sweeties! We're supper sad that 1 of these friends will be returning to school in 3 weeks, and 3 more cuties will be starting kindergarten the same week! One of my kindergarteners has been with me for 3.5 years, one for 1.5 year and the other since this spring, and I cannot begin to count the many ways that every single one of them has been a true blessing to my life!

2025 Summer so far!

Today was a good Good Friday!
We had a great day playing Disney radio and reading easter books! Then we had a yummy snack and had a fun egg hunt!
We ended the day with Easter gifts for all the kiddos!

Friendsgiving with daycare friends today!
Everyone contributed something for the meal, and one of our friends brought cookie kits for each kiddo! It's been a great day!

We got to check out TWO cop cars today! They helped us tie up our Community Helpers unit! The kids got to hold a police flash light, hear the sirens/see the lights and even got to handcuff one of our daycare moms!
Thank you Wichita Police Department for your awesome service and willingness to come out and share with our daycare littles!

FIREFIGHTER FUN FRIDAY!
We learned about Community Helpers this week, and today we had 4 amazing visitors!
Thank you Wichita Fire Department for taking the time out of your day to come show our littles that fire fighters are friendly heros! 🥰

This week is Community Helpers and Safety week and we have a pretty great line up happening. We decided to make some Thank you bags and fill them with goodies donated by our daycare families. The kids got to color a bag and I wrote the age and gender of the kids on the bottom of the bags they colored (excluded names for privacy) And I added a card with a Bible verse for each bag!

Here's our fun Line Up!
Monday: Color thank you bags, and fill them with goodies
Tuesday: make thank you cards (one for each bag)
On Wednesday we have a police officer coming to show us his car and teach us that police officers are friendly and here to help!
On Thursday our mail lady will get surprised by a gift bag for her!
And on Friday we have some firefighters coming to show us their truck and teach the kids that firefighters are also friendly and her to help in emergencies!
