There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. ❤️🎓
It was all smiles, laughter, happy tears, and emotional hugs as we celebrated our 2026 Class of Residents.
From long days and sleepless nights to stressful calls and unforgettable moments. Through it all, they showed up with compassion, dedication, and hearts committed to caring for children and families.
Today, we celebrate not just the end of residency, but the incredible physicians, leaders, and advocates they have become.
To our graduates: thank you for the lives you’ve touched, the friendships you’ve built, and the legacy you’ve left behind. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you.

KU Peds was booked and busy today 👟✈️💙
Part of our team spent the day at the KIDS Network Step Up 5K & Memorial Walk, while others are representing us in Boston at the Pediatric Academic Societies Conference.
