NHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) held a successful "Fields of Faith" event on Wednesday evening last week.

Several current students and alumni Collin Hershberger (NHS '23) served as speakers. Several hundred students were in attendance.

The event was supposed to take place at Fischer Field, but the weather moved it indoors.

Our NHS interns are taking learning beyond the classroom and into the workplace! Through hands-on experiences with local businesses and organizations, students have the opportunity to explore careers, build professional skills, and learn directly from professionals in the field.
This month, we’re spotlighting three of our NMC Health interns as they experience different areas of healthcare through their rotations. From observing procedures to learning about patient care and the day-to-day responsibilities of healthcare professionals, each rotation gives students a firsthand look at the many career possibilities within the healthcare field.

Newton High School BPA members had a great day at the BPA Fall Leadership Conference at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park!

Both new and returning members attended the conference and had the opportunity to learn more about BPA, including:

💼 The many competitive events available to members
🏆 How to earn points toward their Torch Awards
🎯 Leadership opportunities and ways to get involved
🤝 How to make the most of their BPA experience

A special shoutout to Leah Weldon, who represented Newton High School and Kansas BPA as the Kansas BPA State Secretary! Leah led several presentations throughout the conference and did a fantastic job sharing her knowledge and helping students learn more about BPA.
