Exciting News from MxM! 🏙️🥁
Lucas Vargas and Joey Montes are in Indianapolis for Bands of America Grand National Championships and PASIC 2025 — two of the premier events in the marching arts calendar. These gatherings celebrate excellence in performance, education, and innovation across the activity, and it’s great to see our team involved in those circles.
Lucas, an artist with Vater Percussion, will be at PASIC Thursday, Friday, and part of Saturday, while Joey will be representing BAC Musical Instruments, 825 Marching, Guard Closet, and the On A Water Break Podcast — mostly around the stadium, but also at PASIC on Friday.
Both are proud members of the MxM Team and are looking forward to connecting with fellow educators, performers, and industry professionals throughout the week.
If you’re attending, don’t miss the chance to meet Lucas and Joey in Indy and experience the creativity and energy that define this incredible community.

NCBA is hosting its first Marching Band Judges Training with guest clinician David Kaiser from CSJA — and this is huge for our state.
This kind of education and collaboration helps raise the standard for everyone in NC — performers, educators, and adjudicators alike. 👏
