Once upon a snow day in 2012, I chanced upon a Craigslist listing for a lathe. I always enjoyed messing around on my Dad's Shopsmith Lathe as a kid and thought that a midi lathe would be a great addition to my shop. Heckman Batons at Booth H-92 in the exhibit hall. We’re set up and ready to go at the Kansas Music Educators Association Conference. We have all handmade batons with carbon-fiber shafts with wood and acrylic handles, handmade leather cases, MaestroVault cases and even leather trumpet mouthpiece cases.
