You don’t have to play by the rules of difficult people.

Caring for others is admirable — but not at the expense of your own well-being. Your energy, peace, and boundaries matter just as much as anyone else’s.

Start small:
• Say no when you need to.
• Speak up respectfully.
• Protect your time and energy.

Growth comes from acceptance, not criticism. The more you accept how you are in this moment, the more able you are to choose to feel differently in the next moment.

The almond tree is the “awakening tree” for it is the first tree to bud in the Spring. It also represents joy and satisfaction at home, being wakeful, watching, listening and hastening the Word of the Lord. God is watching over His Word to perform it (Jerm 1:11). A bluebird is revelation, healing news coming, spiritual joy, contentment, messages from heaven. He is faithful and will bring about a total turnaround. Declare the word of the Lord. Sometimes moving to the next step is very uncomfortable!

I own beautiful jump ropes. I purchased them (at an overpriced price) but for a good cause. They are hand dyed, natural fibers, carved wooden handles, and came with matching hand dyed bags.
I love them.
I think they are stunning.
They make me smile everytime I see them.

This morning I heard my children outside skipping rope. I grabbed my phone in anticipation of a wonderful frameable moment.
And it was.
Only they were jumping rope with an old electricity cord they pulled from the trashcan.

This is your Monday reminder that children do not need the things that money can buy.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
The antidote to love of money is contentment, which comes from trusting in God's promised provision.
