It was wonderful to be back on campus for a home concert series this week. Thank you to the many friends, family, and community members who sold out our shows, supported our students, and shared in celebrating the hard work of so many on and off stage. Special thanks to our technical and front of house theatre crew who managed our full houses with patience, kindness, and quick thinking.

See you again April 30, May 1, and May 2nd!

What a wonderful concert weekend at EHS! Thank you everyone who came to support the Butler and El Dorado HS Students. If you are able, please consider donating big or small to:

El Dorado High School
Vocal Music Department
401 McCollum Rd, El Dorado, KS 67042
Maker sure to write "Vocal Music Donation" on the memo line if you write a check!

The world needs people trained to listen, communicate, critically evaluate, and problem solve. Workforce studies show that people trained in music ensembles grow in these areas at a higher level than their peers who don't. From Elementary School through College, being a musician pays off. Let's support this incredible high school program so our community can continue to thrive.

On October 13, 2018 the Butler Vocal Music Concert Choir performed Jake Runestad's "Please Stay" with guest soloist and alumni, Nick Stoppel. We had posted the video to facebook but someone requested it's removal. The message and the music is timeless. You are valued, you are loved. This world is better with you in it. If you or someone you know is considering harming themselves, please reach out to the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Yesterday we found out our performance of "Please Stay" featuring our friend Nick Stoppel had been flagged and removed as inappropriate. We found the video today and are reposting the video to Youtube and Facebook.
