Parents - take advantage of our lower prices and consider purchasing a yearbook along with your enrollment fees! We are going with a new company this year, so the cost is only $15. Pay via Infinite Campus or with cash/checks once school is in session.

CMS 7th graders have been working hard on a cross-curricular project related to a UN global goal. The students did research in ELA and Social Studies, drew maps to scale in math class, and made models in science. The culmination of their work was a presentation night for the school and the community! Everyone did a great job, and we are proud of their work!

Emma Herwig, a Chisholm Middle School 8th grade student, has been recognized as a 2026 Promising Young Writer by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).

The Promising Young Writers Program represents NCTE’s commitment to early and continuing work in the development of writing. The school-based writing program was established in 1985 to stimulate and recognize writing talents and to emphasize the importance of writing skills among eighth-grade students.

This year, schools nominated 200 students to participate in the Promising Young Writers Program. Students were nominated from 30 states, as well as Puerto Rico, South Africa and South Korea. Two to three independent judges evaluated each submission holistically on content, purpose, audience, tone, word choice, organization, development, and style.

Congratulations, Emma!
