We are so proud of our Panther softball teams.
Our 10U and 12U teams traveled to Wellington to compete in the Explode Into Summer tournament, and our 12U Panthers finished the weekend as runners-up.
After going 1-1 in pool play on Saturday, 12U came back Sunday ready to compete. They battled through a walk-off win in extra innings against the Andover Aces, which sent them to the championship game against the Snipers.
They came up short in the final game, but walked away with second-place rings and a lot to be proud of.
A special shoutout to Sylvia K., who was named game/tournament MVP. She had a huge weekend behind the plate, caught two foul balls from the catcher position, had great at-bats, and led her team with sportsmanship, hard work, and a clear love for the game.
So proud of these girls and the way they showed up for each other. Way to go, Panthers. 💙🥎

Because AP testing waits for no one, Jack Roe had to come back after graduation to put the final touches on this pottery project.
Meet “Thragg,” a superhero from the Invincible series. Jack poured his heart into this piece, including more than 15 hours just on the glazing.
So proud of the effort, patience, and creativity behind this work. 💙

Nya traveled to Oklahoma City this weekend to compete in the AAU District Qualifier and came home with first-place finishes in every race she ran.
🥇 100m
🥇 200m
🥇 400m
With those wins, she's advancing to the AAU Regional Qualifier, and we couldn't be more excited for her!
We're proud of the hard work she's put in and can't wait to see what she does next.
Way to go, Nya! 💙

For our middle and upper school athletes, summer training is where the season begins to take shape.
This is where confidence starts building. Where teammates get to know each other. Where athletes learn how to push a little harder, encourage a little louder, and walk into the season feeling prepared instead of hoping they are ready.
Specialized training can be a great addition, but time with your school team matters. Being there matters. The reps matter. The relationships matter. The choice to show up for yourself and the people beside you matters.
Panthers, we are proud of the way you compete. We are even prouder of the way you grow.
Summer training is part of that growth. We hope to see you there.
