💛🚀 MAVS ON A MISSION: TIPS FOR FAMILIES! 🚀💛

Wondering how you can help your student with our Raise Craze Acts of Kindness Fundraiser? Here are a few easy ways to get started!

⭐ Register your student!
Getting registered is the first step! Once you're signed up, you can easily share your student's fundraiser with friends and family.

📱 Share, share, share!
Send your student's fundraising link to grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, neighbors, and coworkers. A quick text or email can go a long way!

💛 Tell them WHY we're fundraising!
Donations help support new playground equipment, teacher grants, Mav Time electives, Mentionable Mavs, Student Leadership, Golden Effort, Beanstack, and other programs that benefit our students!

📸 Share the kindness!
Snap a picture of your student completing an Act of Kindness and share it along with their fundraising link. Let friends and family see what **Mavs on a Mission** is all about!

👋 Make it personal!
Encourage your student to call or FaceTime family members and tell them about the Acts of Kindness they chose. A personal ask can make a big difference!

🌟 Remember—every donation counts!
No amount is too small. Every donation helps us get closer to our goals while our students spread kindness throughout the community.

Most importantly, have fun completing those Acts of Kindness! 💛

📣 RAISE CRAZE DAY 2 UPDATE! 💛🖤

Our Mavs are off to an AMAZING start spreading kindness and raising money for MSIS! 🚀

As of this morning:

🎉 70 students registered
💛 10 Acts of Kindness completed
💰 $2,485 raised!

🏆 TEAM LEADERBOARD
B Hall Give Back has taken the lead, with Pink Fluffy Unicorns close behind in 2nd! This race has officially begun! 👀

⭐ CLASSROOM LEADERS
Stucky is still in the lead with 13 students registered, with Dixon close behind!
Weber is leading the way with the most Acts of Kindness completed!

📣 Don’t forget: Students who register are entered into our prize drawings, and completing Acts of Kindness gives them even more opportunities to join in the fun!

Keep registering, sharing with friends and family, and most importantly… keep spreading kindness! 💛

🎉 TODAY IS THE DAY!🎉

Our MSIS Schoolwide Fundraiser officially kicks off TODAY! 🖤💛

Be on the lookout—your student will be coming home with a flyer today with all the details about how our fundraiser works and how they can get involved!

🎥 Be sure to check out the video below! It has some great information about the fundraiser, including what we’re raising money for and how the funds will directly benefit our students and school.

This fundraiser is all about Acts of Kindness—our students will be spreading kindness throughout our school and community while asking friends and family to support their efforts with donations. 💛

Funds raised will help support things like new playground equipment, teacher grants, and other opportunities that directly benefit our MSIS students!

We can’t wait to see all the kindness our Mavs spread over the next few weeks!

Skip cooking and support MSIS PTO at the same time! 🙌

🌺 We’re Changing Gears! 🌺

We’ve made a change to our conference lunch plans and will now be treating our amazing MSIS teachers and support staff to Hawaiian Bros!🌴🍍

Conference day is a long 12-hour day, and we’d love your help showing our staff some appreciation! 🖤💛

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Ziggi’s Coffee Giveback Day! ☕️🖤💛

Thanks to your support, we raised $285.11 for MSIS! 🎉 Every purchase helped make a difference and allows our PTO to continue supporting our students, staff, and school throughout the year.

A special thank you to Ziggi’s Coffee for partnering with us and giving back to MSIS. We are so grateful for our amazing families and community who continue to show up and support our school! ☕️✨

Pop Tabs Benefiting Ronald McDonald House!

Maize South Intermediate KAYs Club is teaming up with Maize South Middle School to participate in the Pop Tab Program benefiting the Ronald McDonald House! 🏠

We are encouraging families to save your pop tabs and send them to school throughout the year. Every tab makes a difference! In April, we will take all of our donated pop tabs and deliver them to the Ronald McDonald House with Maize South Middle School’s KAYs Club.

The Connect class that collects the most pop tabs throughout the year will win a class party!🎉

Start saving those tabs, Mavs! Let’s work together to make a difference in our community! 🖤💛

🌮 Help Us Treat Our Amazing MSIS Staff! 🖤💛

Conference days are long days for our teachers and support staff, and we’d love to make their day a little easier by providing lunch!

MSIS PTO will be catering Taco TJ’s for our staff during conferences, and we’re asking our families and community to help us make it possible.
