In just a few short weeks, Boys Without Fathers, a memoir by Jason Allen will officially be published and unleashed upon the world. It's a constellation of memories that details the author’s upbringing, his complex relationship with his father, and the parallel journeys of recovery for himself and his brother, Jess.

It explores themes like family dynamics, turbulent childhoods, a Father's influence, cycles of addiction and recovery, hope and resilience.

The Quiet Writing Crew is a supportive community designed to help you focus on your writing practice. Join like-minded individuals and create in a distraction-free environment today! The space will open with a brief reading, quote or poem then participants will have 15-20 minutes for the writing of their choice. Each session is limited to the first 10 participants.
