Another beautiful birth in the books. It still amazes me how absolutely unique each birth experience is. Seeing a bag bulge out before baby was incredible and proved how tough that life-sustaining sack is! Our bodies are amazing!! Also seeing a sunrise after a birth is pretty amazing too. My doula heart is full.

I love when my postpartum shifts look like this. 🥦🥕🍎🍠 Prepping meals is one way Doula’s support you after you return home. Replenishing your body after birth with nutritious foods is key to recouping. In addition to helping your milk supply, important blood and mineral building vitamins are found in this beautiful rainbow.

Always adding education to the tool kit. How can I better serve my clients and help them tackle their greatest challenges? Gathering in-depth knowledge and board certified training in lactation support will allow me to guide new parents through the world of chest/breastfeeding. I’m so excited to add this to my offerings very soon!

Well, it’s been a year since I last posted on this account so it seems like time for a check in. Ha! This platform is a bit nerve-wracking for me. I definitely will be stepping out of my comfort zone by sharing my passion for this birth work business that is so very close to my heart. I haven’t committed fully to using my voice on meaningful topics. I haven’t committed fully to myself and my place in this community. That stops now. I’ll probably mess up and get the words wrong sometimes. I’ll overthink each post and let my self doubt hinder and censor me most times. So please bare with me as I learn to bare my soul within these squares. I am hoping to spread love and encouragement, raise marginalized voices and their injustices, support people through experiences and transitions using my whole heart and these really big hands.
