Congratulations on a fantastic year everyone! Our rosters have been selected for a while now, but we are excited to announce to the public our ensembles for the 2026-27 school year. It's going to be a rocking choir room!

And with the conclusion of The BarberShow, that's a wrap for the 2025-2026 season! Thank you all who braved the weather to be with us last night! We had a great evening of barbershop singing and fellowship afterward. And a sincere thank you to our guests, Psychoacoustics and Sunshine Sisters for sharing the evening with us.
As we reflect on the year, our events and accomplishments, we would be remiss if we didn't thank our audiences and supporters! Thank you for attending our concerts, for engaging with our social media content, and supporting and encouraging our students. Parents, Grandparents, Guardians, Family, and Friends, your support means so much to your students and it gives them confidence to perform to their best abilities!
Thank you, again, to all students, staff, and patrons who made this year an incredible success! We look forward to reconnecting in the 2026-2027 season!

What a great day for Augusta musicians at State Large Group. Our Concert Band, Concert Choir, and our Men's and Women’s Choir all brought home straight 1s. It took 5 busses to bring our 160 student musicians to festival today. Thank you to our great bus drivers for driving us! So proud and honored to be a part of this amazing music program and district!

To say I'm proud of our students seems like an understatement. I have watched these students work their tails off this entire year. Their dedication, months of hard work, and beautiful musicianship were on full display at 8:00am this Saturday morning at the KMEA workshop. They represented Augusta Kansas and USD402 so well! In addition to our Concert Choir singing this morning, Mikaela Tymony was called up at the last minute to fill in a spot for the 2026 All-State Treble Ensemble. In three days she learned an entire set of music and performed beautifully at the All State Concert. Way to go, Mikaela! These young people have raised the bar for those coming up and are leaving a legacy at AHS that will inspire many students in the future. I'm proud to be an Oriole and a part of Augusta Choirs!
