My wife and I like to watch early Sunday morning news shows that re-cap the week that have some good, positive human interest stories. Yesterday morning we chose to watch "Sunday Today with Willie Geist." He interviewed Ariana DeBose, Golden Globe Award winning actress who played Anita in Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story." She played in the original Hamilton and has been recently nominated for an Academy Award. Here's what piqued my interest in her interview. Ariana said, "When I was a kid I would watch the Oscars while sitting on my Grandma's living room floor and everybody would say, 'I'd like to thank the Academy. . .' and I kid you not, I'd sit on the floor and mouth the words, "I'd like to thank the Academy."

You go, Ariana. We're going to be keeping a close watch on the Oscars this year!

On Saturday, March 5th, from 9 am-Noon CST, I will be hosting a zoom event where we will create a kick-ass vision board which will be a gateway for us, to all of the things we want to have in our lives.
What is it that you would be, do, or have if there were absolutely no limits on what you could be, do, or have? I just turned 70 years old. I have had some amazing experiences and am living a life I only dreamed of for most of my life, AND there are still things that I would like to experience. Bet that's the case for most of you, too. Regardless of age, we yearn. We reach for things we haven't fully experienced.
My professional career has revolved around building sales teams, training team members on an individual or group level. To hone my skills, I have gone to literally hundreds of training/presentation events, some of which I spent thousands of dollars in order to attend. One event that I went to was an immersed 5 day event that started early in the day and went until late - the last night, very late into the early morning hours. That one is the one I have recalled more often than all of the others combined.
What I have learned over the past two years about the Law of Attraction, however, eclipses everything I learned everywhere else I went. I've been an avid student of the Bible, The Secret (book and movie) and of Napoleon Hill's book, "Think and Grow Rich." All of this has come together for me into one focal point and that's what I want to share with you. It's not that all of the events I went to, all of the books I read were a waste of time. We do the best with what we know and "when we know better, we do better," as Maya Angelou said.
Some of my best learning happened in a one-on-one with a personal coach or in a very small group of like-minded people. In fact, I just finished having seven sessions with a professional coach to help me hone in on my vision going forward from my 70th year.
So, let's work together in a small group on a project that I believe will change, shape our lives going forward in gentle, yet powerful ways. Ready?

Why would someone put together a Vision Board, you say?
