Cheer Camp was an incredible success, and the Legacy Cheer program is coming home with an amazing collection of awards!

Our Varsity squad earned 1st Place Cheer, 1st Place Band Chant, and the coveted NCA Overall Spirit Stick. Our JV squad also had an outstanding week, bringing home 1st Place Cheer in their division.

The individual honors were just as impressive. Andi Lee was named an All-American Cheerleader and was also recognized with the Overall Best Jumps Award for the entire camp. Johnathon Torres was selected as an All-American Mascot. Ka’lecia Peterson and Andi Lee were each presented with the Pin-It Forward Award for their outstanding character and leadership. We are also incredibly proud of Cheran Hooper, who received a personal invitation to join the NCA Staff next summer.

To top it all off, our coaches, Kristin Howard and Julie Yandell, were honored with the Herkie Award as the camp’s Overall Best Coaching Staff.

This team poured their hearts into every practice, performance, and challenge throughout the week, and these awards reflect their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. While we’re proud of every trophy and honor earned, the friendships strengthened, lessons learned, and memories made are what we’ll cherish the most.

Congratulations, Legacy Cheer! We couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you. 💙📣
