🚗 Dismissal Reminders & Updates
Thank you, McNiel families, for your patience as we continue to fine-tune dismissal in our new building! Each day we are learning what works best, and a few simple reminders will help us keep dismissal safe, smooth, and moving!
📣 Changes to Your Child’s Dismissal
Please communicate planned dismissal changes directly with your child’s teacher in advance. For last-minute or same-day changes, please call the front office no later than 3:15 PM. This gives us time to make sure your child is moved to the correct dismissal area before our 3:50 PM dismissal bell.
Changes received after 3:15 may result in an extended wait while we locate your child and move them from another area of the building.
⏰ Picking Up After Dismissal
Please plan to pick up your child promptly at dismissal. Once dismissal areas are no longer staffed, parents will need to come to the front office to pick up and sign out their child.
🚶 Parent Walk-Up Has Moved!
Parent Walk-Up is now located at Door A27 on the north side of the building. This move has helped us avoid the heavy traffic at the front of the school and is working very well!
Park in the rear lot and walk to Door A27 with your dismissal tag.
Staff will come outside to collect tags.
We will call parents forward as children are brought outside.
Please keep the area immediately around the doors clear so staff and students can easily see and locate family members.
