Ever since the Clap Stack’s invention every cymbal company has gone on to make their own version of this iconic “taco sandwich”

This one, the Versa Stack, is made by Reverie Cymbal Co and man does it sound good! Plus is a good bit cheaper than the B20 versions made by other companies.

The Disco beat will never get old. It’s one of those grooves that just makes people wanna move. It transcends tradition genre boundaries and time periods, just reappearing over and over again in slightly different forms.

I switched to Promark Maple sticks last year and have absolutely fallen in love with the Todd Sucherman signature sticks. They’re about the same diameter as a regular 5B with a large acorn tip and a short taper. Also they’re maple so lighter than hickory sticks. Super easy to move around the kit fast with these and they sound great. Of course, the only downside is that they wear faster than hickory, but I’ll make that compromise for the ease of playability 😄

It’s nice to have a variety of snares available at the studio! However, this beautiful PDP Concept Maple snare—complete with wooden rims—unfortunately took a hit while resting on the snare rack. As you can see, the foam has left its mark on the finish of the rims. 😫

I’m really trying to stay tight on this one in order to get that Bruno feel. It’s all about capturing the essence and serving the music.
Also had to give the clap stack its moment in the spotlight 😆👏🥞
