What a great start to our first year at Active Minds Academy!

Our first week has been filled with creativity, problem-solving, laughter, and lots of time getting to know one another.

Our K–2 students put their creativity to work using different shapes to design their own houses, while our 3–6 students took on Fred the Worm STEM challenges, working together to think, problem-solve, and persevere.

More than anything, we’ve loved watching our students begin to settle in, make connections, and become a community.

We’re so excited for the year ahead! 🏔

As we wrap up Open House tonight, we want to take a moment to say thank you to our amazing families.

It was such a joy to catch up with so many of you and to meet some of you face-to-face for the first time. We could truly feel the excitement in the building and we left feeling incredibly grateful.

We know choosing a new school takes trust, and you are trusting us with what's most important to you: your children. We are deeply grateful for that trust, and we don't take the opportunity to spend our days helping your children learn and grow lightly.

We are so excited for what's ahead! Our first days are just around the corner, and we cannot wait to watch this community of learners take shape.

Active Minds Academy is a hands-on, small-group learning environment where students receive individualized support, build confidence, and stay actively engaged in their learning. We have certified teachers and a strong focus on meaningful, project-based experiences. We have limited openings in our K-2 section beginning Fall 2026. If you are looking for a more flexible and personalized approach, this could be a great fit!

Our library just got a whole lot bigger!

The first shipment of books arrived this week, and we couldn't be more excited to place them on the shelves for our future readers. From adventure and fantasy to historical fiction, mystery, graphic novels, and heartwarming stories, there are so many new worlds waiting to be explored.

We want students to fall in love with reading, discover new interests, and find books they can't put down.

We’ve officially wrapped up our first enrollment window for AMA.

We’re incredibly grateful for the interest, support, and thoughtful applications we’ve received from families in our community.

Over the next few days, we’ll be reviewing applications and beginning to send out enrollment decisions as we build our first group of students.

It’s been exciting to see the alignment with families who are looking for something different and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead.
