🎓 Our 2026–27 Ambassador Academy is officially underway!
Last night, we welcomed this year’s Clark-Pleasant Ambassador Academy cohort for their first session—and what a great group to kick off another year of learning, connecting and getting a behind-the-scenes look at CPCSC!
For their first session, our Ambassadors learned more about the Clark-Pleasant Police Department and the upcoming school referendum.
🚓 The evening began with a field trip to our Real-Time Information Center (RTIC), where the group had the opportunity to see firsthand how our police department works to help keep our schools safe. They met members of the CPPD team—including our police K9s—and learned more about the people, technology and resources that support safety throughout our district.
🍽️ After returning, the group enjoyed dinner from City Barbeque while learning a little more about how school financing works and the referendum question that Clark-Pleasant voters will see on the ballot this November.
The Ambassador Academy was created to give parents and community members a closer look at the many pieces that come together to serve our students—from safety and staffing to finance, operations, future planning and more.
We have a fantastic group joining us this year, and we can’t wait to continue learning alongside them and sharing their Ambassador Academy journey throughout the year!
