ESC Region 11 We provide professional development, technical assistance, and management of education programs. We encourage comments about topics that we post.

Terms of Use for Facebook Posts

Thanks for using the Education Service Center Region 11 page. This site is maintained and moderated by the ESC Region 11 Communications Department. Our page provides information and photos about the service center, workshops, and programs, and features the successes of our school districts and charter schools. Posts about school and charter activities, programs, and successes are provided by those organizations and reposted on our page. The ESC Region 11 Facebook content is updated frequently, and the page is used to relay important announcements. Posted comments must comply with the following regulations:

• Comments shall be limited to the topic of a specific posting made by the page administrator. If you have an unrelated question or comment, please send those to [email protected].
• Comments are not allowed if they include profanity, threatening words, vulgar language, or inappropriate language or content.
• Comments are not allowed if they include specific allegations, a personal attack, or accusations about an employee, student, parent, employee, school district or charter school, community member, or the Education Service Center. Submit specific complaints regarding the ESC to Executive Director Dr. Clyde Steelman, [email protected], or by mail at 1451 S. Cherry Lane, White Settlement, TX 76108.
• Comments are not allowed if they include offensive language that targets specific groups of people, such as ethnic, religious, or racial groups.
• Comments are not allowed if they include spam or advertisements.
• Comments with links to other sites will be screened by the site administrator and allowed at the discretion of the site administrator.
• Photographs posted will be screened by the site administrator and removed if deemed inappropriate.
• Reporters and other persons seeking responses to questions or requests
are asked to send questions to the Public Information Officer at [email protected].
• Comments promoting or attacking electoral campaigns or candidates are
not allowed, nor are comments attacking elected officials.
• Participants are responsible for what they post. Comments must not breach any law, confidentiality, or copyright.
• Anyone posting comments contrary to this Terms of Use policy will have their comment removed. Posts/comments that are deemed inappropriate according to this Terms of Use Policy, the person posting them will be blocked from making any future posts on the page.
• Education Service Center Region 11 reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time without advance notice.

IFYKYK… Is this social media post Real or Rob? 👀 After today’s fourth AI Collective of Educators (ACE), we may have you second-guessing! 😏

Educators from across the region came together to connect, collaborate, and explore how artificial intelligence is changing teaching and learning. From putting their AI-detection skills to the test with “Real or Rob?” to exploring practical tools, strategies, and new possibilities for the classroom, ACE was all about learning together and rethinking what’s possible with AI in education.

A huge thank you to our guest presenters for sharing your expertise, ideas, and real-world experiences with our educators!

Our fall Instructional Leaders’ Meeting focused on learning from one another, sharing what’s working, and looking ahead to how we can continue creating the conditions for every student to succeed.

Through thoughtful conversation and practical learning, participants gained ideas they can take back to their districts and charter schools as they learn, leverage, and lead.

Mary McMinimy, our 2026 Region 11 Secondary Teacher of the Year and a Texas Teacher of the Year finalist, joined today’s Team Transition Monthly Meet-up to share lessons from her work at Flower Mound High School in Lewisville ISD.

Ms. Mary explored how real-world learning, vocational experiences, and intentional connections can help students build independence, confidence, and skills for what comes next.

The day was filled with thoughtful conversation and practical ideas focused on preparing students for employment and life beyond the classroom. We’re so proud of Ms. Mary and wish her the very best at Friday’s state-level competition!
