We must never think that our position in the church is not important or that we have no position.
I can look at where I stand today, and I can look back to the process that it took for me to get to where I stand today, and there were many involved.
When I came to the altar and gave my life to the Lord many years ago, it was the altar workers that were there to help me pray through to salvation. It was the altar workers that were there giving me encouragement through my walk. It was the altar workers that had no clue what I was facing or what I was struggling with, and they prayed with me, they spoke words to me that was the very answer that I needed to help me go another mile. I can honestly say I would not be where I’m at today in the ministry or in my life in general if it were not for those precious altar workers and the body of Christ… for them people allowing God to use them and pushing me towards the purpose of God. 
Your position is important in the body of Christ. There’s people that need your strength, that needs your encouragement, that needs your words of wisdom spoken into their lives.
You have purpose!

I am the Shepherd and you are my sheep. It can’t be the other way around. The sheep follows the Shepherd and the Shepherd guides the sheep.
We don’t follow the Shepherd because we were made to, but because we are sheep. Stay in your position.

There is such an importance to unity in the church in this hour.
In order for the body of Christ to be effective there has to be that unity.
The scripture talks of how He left the 99 to go after the 1. The Lord has shown me this week, that the reason he can leave the 99 is because they are in unity. There would be no reason for Him to go and get the 1 if there was no unity in those 99. Why bring 1 back to disunity.
The Lord is about unity….that’s where the blessings are.
When Jesus was crucified, they said not a bone of his body could be broken…. if it is broken, that is disunity. When the Lord talked about the body, he said that it would be fitly joined together ….. This is unity.
This is what grows the Christian, it’s what grows the church….and this is the church that he can bring the 1 back to.
