Servicing Environmental Systems
Servicing Environmental Systems (SES) Class will be held on most Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 3, 2026 through April 29, 2027 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Xavier Emerson & Jesse Heien will be the instructors for this class in Room B100 at the Training Center. Please note that a mandatory dues receipt must be provided on the first day of class by each attendee along with a check or cash deposit that will be returned upon completion of the class and with at least 70% attendance of the class.
SES will focus on the core knowledge required for servicing HVAC systems. We’ll cover the basics of refrigeration systems, systems design, pressure/temperature relationships, electricity fundamentals, and controls.
We will then go more in-depth in all the fundamental areas of HVAC service, such as gas heating, air conditioning, and air distribution. Plenty of time will be spent on wiring diagrams, troubleshooting, and hands-on work.
We will then focus exclusively on commercial hands-on service. Lab time will be spent on some of the newer components and systems that are out there today.
If you are interested in attending this class, please submit a check for $100 to Metro JATC, 3554 White Bear Avenue North, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
