Sunday morning routines & sweet family moments! ⛪️🌾💙

Looking back at this past Sunday walking in from the parking lot toward the main entrance of Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church! ✨

Deni and Gordon were leading the way holding hands right in front of me while I filmed, with Marian walking right alongside us! 👧🏻👨🏻👩🏻‍🦰 Filming these simple, peaceful walks before mass reminds me of how precious these weekly family traditions truly are. 🌾🙏🏼

Taking these steady, faithful steps alongside Gordon and our girls fills my heart with endless peace and gratitude.❤️

Sunday routines, marina strolls, and sailboat winter prep!⛵️💙

After attending Sunday mass and grabbing a quick lunch at Wendy's, Gordon and I arrived at Safe Harbor Haverstraw Marina around 2:00 PM!
🍔🚗⚓️

Watch us walk along the dock toward our slip where Annabel G is docked, passing by all the beautiful neighboring sailboats along the way!⛵️✨ Every Sunday visit to the marina is a peaceful way to wrap up our weekend, especially as we take on more steps to get her ready for winter storage. 🛠️⚓️

As a teacher and survivor, these steady, quiet moments walking side-by-side with Gordon fill my heart with endless peace and gratitude.❤️

The ultimate birthday morning surprise! 🎂🚲💙

After our late-night Applebee's celebration, Deni thought all her 9th birthday surprises were over since she had already opened her small gifts at the restaurant! 🎁✨ But on Saturday morning, Gordon brought out the biggest box of all—her brand-new pink bicycle! 🚲💖

Watch Gordon unboxing and assembling the bike right in our family room while Deni sits on the sofa, bursting with pure excitement and laughter!😂🎉 Even Sandy, our golden retriever, hung out in the background keeping an eye on all the birthday action!🐕🐾

Capturing these steady, joyous family milestones and seeing the unedited happiness in my daughters' eyes fills my heart with endless gratitude.❤️

The sweetest finale to an unforgettable 9th birthday night!

Past 11:00 PM at Applebee's, after finishing up our delicious ice cream dessert, it was finally time for Deni's favorite part of the night—unwrapping her birthday presents! 🍨🎉✨

With all her gifts laid out on the table, she started by reading the sweet birthday card from Gordon and me.💌🥹 Watch her face light up with pure excitement as she reads our words and opens each surprise! Even late into the night after a non-stop, hectic day, her joy brought so much warmth to our hearts.❤️✨

As a teacher and survivor, these steady, precious family moments and milestone celebrations bring endless peace and gratitude to my life.🙏🏼💖

When Senior Night and a 9th birthday overlap on a rainy football night!✨

Looking back at yesterday's hectic schedule! Right after school, Gordon, Deni, and I headed to the field for Marian's High School Senior Night—the pictorial, the processional, and waiting for her marching band performance!☀

As the light drizzle started falling over the bleachers, Deni was getting a little restless and so hungry, eager to head straight to Applebee's for her 9th birthday dinner! But since we had to wait until halftime after the second quarter for Marian to perform, I looked at Deni and told her, 'Look around—everyone here came out to celebrate YOUR birthday tonight!' Her face lit up immediately!❤

Even with light rain, rumbling tummies, and a packed schedule, watching Marian shine with her band made every second in the stands so special.

As a teacher and survivor, these steady, creative family moments fill my heart with endless gratitude❤

From school to Senior Night to a 10 PM birthday feast!🎓🥁🎂💙

Yesterday was such a wonderfully busy day for our family! Marian and Deni had school, followed immediately by Marian's High School Senior Night—the pictures, the processional, and watching her rock the marching band performance!
🏈🎷✨ Because of the packed schedule, we couldn't eat dinner early, so we arrived at Applebee's past 9:00 PM to celebrate Deni turning 9!🥳🎈

By the time we got our juices and our food arrived at 10:00 PM, Gordon, Marian, Deni, and I were so hungry!
🥤🥩🍟 Watch our faces light up as the waitress served all our meals! Even after a non-stop, hectic day, gathering around the table together made every second worth it.❤️✨

As a teacher and survivor, these steady, hardworking family days filled with pure joy and love bring endless gratitude to my heart. 🙏🏼💖

Yesterday was such a full, beautiful night! Right after attending Marian's Senior Night—the pictorial, the processional, and watching her marching band perform on the field—we drove straight over to Applebee's, arriving just past 9:00 PM to celebrate Deni turning 9!🥁🎓

Watch us walk from the parking lot to the entrance! Deni was so excited she rushed inside first, followed by Gordon, then Marian, and me carrying all of Deni's surprise birthday gifts!🎁Even after a long, event-filled evening, seeing her face light up as we walked through the doors made every second worth it🎉

As a teacher and survivor, celebrating these sweet milestone moments with Gordon, Marian, and Deni fills my heart with endless gratitude and joy.
