The first-ever Carroll Book Festival is coming to Westminster next month and McDaniel College is proud to be a sponsor of this inaugural event. If you are interested in getting involved, volunteers are needed for various shifts across all areas of the festival. Green Terrors going to the Baltimore Orioles game tonight may see a familiar face! ⚾ Baltimore resident and lifelong fan 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 '𝟬𝟲 will be performing the National Anthem before the first pitch of Yankees/Os at 6:35 p.m. Be sure to give an extra loud "O" tonight to show our McDaniel support!

Current and former McDaniel runners participated in the Sebby Breton 5K on Saturday, Aug. 15 in Gaithersburg. 🏃‍➡️ 𝗦𝗲𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 '𝟮𝟲 was an All-Met cross country runner from Winston Churchill High School (Potomac) and an accomplished runner at McDaniel. The top three women runners, all from McDaniel, were 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 ‘𝟮𝟰, 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗼 ’𝟮𝟳, and 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗿 ‘𝟮𝟵. 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 ‘𝟮𝟲 placed second on the men’s side. 👟

Keith and Robin are excited to introduce folks to this hip neighborhood brewery and reconnect with alumni from across the region. Your first beverage is on the college, and light snacks and non-alcohol options will also be provided, making it the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new connections.

Alumni Parents and their First-Year students are invited to join the Office of Alumni Engagement at 1:30 p.m. this Thursday, Aug. 20, on the steps of Hoover Library. Our college photographer will capture a photo of each legacy family, as well as a fun group photo. It’s a great opportunity to mark the beginning of your family’s next chapter on the Hill. 💚💛
